New Year - New Fun!

Happy New Year! Welcome 2023!

Each year at this time, I find myself looking through my completed Book of Days and comparing my finishes to my January “To-Do” list. While I did not complete all of my stitching goals for the past year, I did make some good progress, having knocked out a couple of large ones. With that being said, many cross-stitch designers released incredible new designs, so my stash has not been reduced in size. Alas, that’s the conundrum of this hobby we all love! So many delightful and inspiring designs to stitch and not enough time to sit down and complete them.

January’s meeting will mark the halfway point for the SGR meeting year. The next several months are filled with more fun as we continue to celebrate our 30th Anniversary! We look forward to the upcoming presentation by Claudia Dutcher-Kistler in February and March means it’s time for the Stash Sale and Community Service Food Drive! April offers us Seminar and a great presentation at our monthly meeting by Jeannette Douglas! May will find us at the end of our year and having a great final celebration! Please continue to watch the newsletter for all of the important dates and sign-up deadline for our summer Retreat and Stitching Day!
